What are your shipping rates and transit times?

Orders $100 and up: FREE shipping 
- Cookie only orders: FREE ground shipping 
- Sugar Cake orders or orders that include Sugar Cake: FREE 2-3 Day shipping 

*Shipping fees and sales tax are not counted towards the merchandise subtotal. Orders must hit the $100 minimum after any discount codes have been applied and be within the continental United States in order to qualify for free shipping.

*If you're shipping to multiple addresses, please note that each shipping address must meet the $100 minimum in order to be eligible for complimentary shipping.


Orders under $100: Flat rate of $11.95 
- Moravian Cookie only orders: Ground shipping
Moravian Sugar Cake: We want you to taste our best, so ensuring freshness is a must for us. Orders that include our Moravian Sugar Cake will be shipped via a 2-3 Day shipping carrier service if ground shipping is estimated to arrive after 3 Days -- currently at no extra charge to you if the shipping destination is in the continental United States (48 states). (If the shipping destination is local to the North Carolina area, transit time might only be 1 day.)


Transit Times:  
Ground shipping: Transit time is typically between 1-6 business days.
2-3 Day Shipping: Transit time is between 1-3 business days. 


*Please note if your order contains cookies and sugar cake and is enough items to require multiple packages (such as two shipping boxes), we might ship cookies ground and sugar cake 2-3 Day separately. 

*We plan to add a “Next Day” shipping option for overnight deliveries. In the meantime, you may call us directly if you need this service, and we will do our best to accommodate your request for an additional fee depending on your shipping location.

When will my order ship?

Moravian Cookies: We ship Monday-Friday. Most orders are scheduled to ship within two business days from the date of receipt (inventory permitting).

Moravian Sugar Cake: We ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In order to get you the freshest cakes possible, Sugar Cake orders must be received by 7am ET Monday morning for shipment that same week. Due to baking fresh, quantities are limited. We sometimes sell out temporarily, so if you have a time senstive event, we recommend placing your order early.

*We do not ship on holidays such as New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also recommend ordering well in advance of Christmas due to product demand as well as potential shipping carrier delays.

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns. However your experience is our top priority, so we would be happy to do full or partial re-shipments/refunds for any of the following situations:

-Wrong items were shipped
-Items were missing from the order
-Items were damaged
-Shipping carrier lost package in transit
-Shipping carrier delivered the order to the wrong address

If another situation arises, please don't hesitate to contact us about that as well.

Where can I track my order?

We will send you a shipping confirmation email when all or part of your order is shipped that will include the tracking number. You will be sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for every shipment.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we do not currently ship outside of the USA and its territories, but we look forward to expanding our shipping capabilities in the future!

What about shipping to Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico?

We are able to ship orders to these locations, however there may be an additional charge added to the shipping cost.

Do you ship to PO Boxes/APO/FPO addresses?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like to discuss alternate options for shipping, please email us at info@wilkersonbakery.com.

Can I cancel my order once placed?

We unfortunately are unable to cancel orders that are processed or have been fulfilled. Please contact us with any concerns at info@wilkersonbakery.com.

Can I ship to multiple addresses in one purchase?

Yes, you may ship to multiple addresses in one order! In your shopping cart you'll see a checkbox at the top that says “Ship to Multiple Addresses". 

*Please note that free shipping for orders over $100 is applied on a per-address basis, rather than on the total of the entire order. 

Shipping in multiple packages

If your order includes several items, they may ship separately and at different times. Our shipping confirmation emails will let you know how much of your order has shipped.

*Please note if your order contains cookies and sugar cake and is enough items to require multiple packages (such as two shipping boxes), we might ship cookies ground and sugar cake 2-3 Day separately.

Hand-baked from the heart for five generations. The Wilkerson family takes great pride in every product we offer, and we strive to deliver our Moravian creations in the best possible condition as quickly as possible.

There are unfortunately some things outside of our control like the weather and transit delays once the package is in the hands of UPS or USPS. As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date.

Wilkerson Moravian Bakery is unable to guarantee time of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8am-8pm. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive event, we recommend placing your order early. You may also contact us directly by phone so we that we can do our best to meet your needs if it is possible.

Suspension of Service Guarantee from UPS:
Within the U.S., UPS is designated among the government’s critical infrastructure and, therefore, continues to operate. The Novel Coronavirus pandemic has created unprecedented complexities, which have required us to constantly reassess our operations. Our highest priority is to help ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers.

Suspension of Service Guarantee
Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination. For all U.S. origin shipments, the Service Guarantee suspension became effective as of March 24, 2020.

As the effects of the Coronavirus impact our infrastructure, we will continue to seek guidance from local, state, and national government entities to ensure that we fully align with their regulations. We are committed to continue operating globally except where constrained by government restrictions. 

USPS:
USPS products and packages also may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 impacts.
