How long does Sugar Cake stay fresh?

Our Wilkerson Moravian Sugar Cake is best served warm from the oven (or microwave), or frozen and served when craved.

The "MADE FRESH" date sticker on the back of our sugar cake boxes currently represents the date your sugar cake was baked. We ship sugar cake that was made the same day it is shipped to ensure it arrives as fresh as possible.

Please consume or freeze* your sugar cake within 7 days of this date. We recommend doing so as soon as you receive it for the best taste.

*It also freezes very well. So, if you do not plan to eat it right away, please put it in the freezer as soon as possible.

How do I subscribe to Wilkerson Moravian Bakery emails?

You can subscribe by any of the below four methods:

1) Enter your name and email in the pop up window when you visit our website.

2) Create an account by clicking the “Register” link located in the top right corner of the website and select "Click here to join" on the right side underneath "Join Now". Then enter name, email address, create a password, select the checkbox at the top to become part of the WMB Fam, and select "Create Account".

3) Enter email address in the footer of the website and click "Subscribe".

4) When entering email at checkout underneath "Contact Information", select the checkbox next to "Keep me up to date on news and offers".

How do I unsubscribe from Wilkerson Moravian Bakery emails?

All you need to do is click “unsubscribe from this list” link at the bottom of the email and you should be all set. If you have any issues, please email us at info@wilkersonbakery.com.

How do I create an account?

To create your account/join WMB Fam, click “register” in the top right corner of the website. Then click “Click here to join” on the right side underneath "Join Now".

Then enter name, email address, create a password, select the checkbox at the top to become part of the WMB Fam, and select "Create Account".

I am having trouble logging in or resetting my password

If you are having trouble logging into your account or resetting your password, you can email us at info@wilkersonbakery.com and we will be able to update your account and give you access. If you need to place the order before the end of the day to ensure the order is entered on time, we suggest placing the order with an alternative email address.

Subscribe & Save! What is your subscription policy?

By joining WMB Fam, you have access to a customizable subscription plan. When you subscibe and save, you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription frequency that you select.

Three frequency options:
Every month: Save 15% off every item, every delivery!
Every 2 months: Save 10% off every item, every delivery! 
Every 3 months: Save 5% off every item, every delivery! 

You choose which product(s) and how many! 

Your payment details will be stored securely, and you'll be automatically charged for your selected items every time they ship out as well as our standard flat rate shipping fee for each delivery, unless you choose to pay in advance. (Or, if your subscription value is $50 or more to qualify for FREE shipping.)

If you want to cancel or change your subscription in order to mix it up and try new products, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any issues! We're here to help.

Orders & Shipping

What payment methods do you accept on your site?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diners Club. You can also use the following express checkout options: PayPal, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.

What is Shop Pay?

When you use Shop Pay, you can choose to pay in full or in 4 interest-free installments for orders between $50 and $1000.

Either way, when you use Shop Pay you contribute to the Shop community's tree planting efforts! As one of the first carbon-neutral ways to pay, Shop Pay is dedicated to offsetting the carbon emissions caused by delivery. This means planting and protecting new trees. Currently, Shop Pay has protected nearly 11 million trees to offset over 10,000 tons of carbon emissions.

With Shop Pay, you can even track and visualize your individual carbon offset history and see your individual eco-footprint, as well as the overall impact of the Shop community.

What are your shipping rates and transit times?

SHIPPING RATES:

Within the 48 states:
Orders $75 and up: FREE
shipping

*Shipping fees and sales tax are not counted towards the merchandise subtotal. Orders must hit the $75 minimum after any discount codes have been applied and be within the continental United States in order to qualify for free shipping.

*If you're shipping to multiple addresses, please note that each shipping address must meet the $75 minimum in order to be eligible for complimentary shipping.

Orders under $75: Flat rate of $9.95 or $11.95 depending on the state
*We ship from North Carolina. 

Alaska & Hawaii:
Orders $75 and up:
Surcharge of $28
Orders under $75: Flat rate of $11.95 + surcharge of $28 = totaling $39.95

All orders with expedited shipping will be custom calculated at checkout depending on amount and location.

TRANSIT TIMES:
-Ground shipping: Transit time is typically between 1-6 business days.(This applies to FREE shipping and Flat Rate orders.)
-2-3 Day Shipping: Transit time is between 1-3 business days.
-Next Day Air Saver: Transit time is 1 day 

When will my order ship?

Moravian Cookies: We ship Monday-Friday. Most orders are scheduled to ship within two business days from the date of receipt (inventory permitting).

Moravian Sugar Cake: We usually ship Monday-Wednesday.
In order to get you the freshest cakes possible, Sugar Cake orders must be received by 7am ET Tuesday morning to guarantee shipment that same week. During November and December, please place Sugar Cake orders by 7am ET Monday morning to guarantee shipment that same week. Due to baking fresh, quantities are limited. We sometimes sell out temporarily, so if you have a time senstive event, we recommend placing your order early.

*We do not ship on holidays such as New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

CHRISTMAS ORDERS:
-Christmas orders must be placed by DECEMBER 14 to guarantee delivery by Christmas.
-Christmas orders containing Sugar Cake must be placed by DECEMBER 7 to guarantee delivery by Christmas. (We only ship sugar cake on certain days.) 

*Please note, we will do our very best to get all orders out as quickly as possible regardless of order date, but we recommend you place your holiday orders as early as possible to ensure a timely delivery. Thank you so much for your understanding!

When to place my Christmas order(s)?

CHRISTMAS ORDERS:
-Christmas orders with standard shipping must be placed by DECEMBER 9 to guarantee delivery by Christmas.

-(If you are shipping to an address in North Carolina or on the East coast, you may have time to order after December 9, but please contact us to confirm.)

-Don't forget we do have expedited shipping options! :)

Can I add a gift message to my order?

Absolutely! In your shopping cart you’ll see a checkbox in the gray field on the right underneath “Total” that says “Is this a gift?”.

Please note that gift messages have a maximum number of 300 characters including spaces. They will most often be printed on the packing slip or invoice.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, you may ship to multiple addresses in one order! In your shopping cart you'll see a checkbox at the top that says “Ship to Multiple Addresses".

Please note that free shipping for orders over $50 is applied on a per-address basis, rather than on the total of the entire order. (Our free shipping threshold of $50 is available for a limited time.)

Shipping in multiple packages

If your order includes several items, they may ship separately and at different times. Our shipping confirmation emails will let you know how much of your order has shipped.

*Please note if your order contains cookies and sugar cake and is enough items to require multiple packages (such as two shipping boxes), we might ship cookies ground and sugar cake 2-3 Day separately. 

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns. However your experience is our top priority, so we would be happy to do full or partial re-shipments/refunds for any of the following situations:

-Wrong items were shipped
-Items were missing from the order
-Items were damaged
-Shipping carrier lost package in transit
-Shipping carrier delivered the order to the wrong address

If another situation arises, please don't hesitate to contact us about that as well.

Where can I track my order?

We will send you a shipping confirmation email when all or part of your order is shipped that will include the tracking number. You will be sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for every shipment.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to ship outside of the USA and its territories, but we look forward to expanding our shipping capabilities in the future!

Do you ship to PO Boxes/APO/FPO addresses?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like to discuss alternate options for shipping, please email us at info@wilkersonbakery.com.

Can I cancel my order once placed?

We unfortunately are unable to cancel orders that are processed or have been fulfilled. Please contact us with any concerns at info@wilkersonbakery.com.

Note from the Wilkersons & shipping carriers

Hand-baked from the heart for five generations. The Wilkerson family takes great pride in every product we offer, and we strive to deliver our creations in the best possible condition as quickly as possible.

There are unfortunately some things outside of our control like the weather and transit delays once the package is in the hands of UPS or another shipping carrier. As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date.

Wilkerson Moravian Bakery is unable to guarantee time of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8am-8pm. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive event, we recommend placing your order early. You may also contact us directly by phone so we that we can do our best to meet your needs if it is possible.

Suspension of Service Guarantee from UPS:
Within the U.S., UPS is designated among the government’s critical infrastructure and, therefore, continues to operate. The Novel Coronavirus pandemic has created unprecedented complexities, which have required us to constantly reassess our operations. Our highest priority is to help ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers.

Suspension of Service Guarantee
Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination. For all U.S. origin shipments, the Service Guarantee suspension became effective as of March 24, 2020.

As the effects of the Coronavirus impact our infrastructure, we will continue to seek guidance from local, state, and national government entities to ensure that we fully align with their regulations. We are committed to continue operating globally except where constrained by government restrictions. 

USPS:
USPS products and packages also may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 impacts.
