Introducing our Moravian Sugar Cake (each box comes with two 14oz sugar cakes).

The sweetest memories are made with Moravian Sugar Cake. A delicious tradition that is treasured year-round while being synonymous with the holiday season, especially in Winston-Salem and the surrounding area, much due to the influence of the Wilkersons’. This was the first product our family became famous for. This yeast raised dough with pure butter, local honey, real potatoes, and an incredible mixture of melted brown sugar and cinnamon brings the romance to your kitchen table.

Baked fresh from our bakery in Winston-Salem! Moravian sugar cake is best served warm from the oven. It can also be frozen after you receive it and then heated and served when craved. ✨ Please eat or freeze within 7 days of the "MADE FRESH" date on the back of your sugar cake bag (this is the same date that your sugar cake was baked & shipped). The sooner the better though for the best taste, so we recommend either eating or putting your sugar cake into your freezer as soon as you receive it.

A century of secrets baked in every batch.

A Taste of Moravian History

The allure, fame and mythology of spices is older than recorded history. Once civilizations tasted spices and experienced the mesmerizing aroma, people could not live without them. Early in the 15th century, a 200-year period of time called the Spice Wars was fought.

From this, far-away lands were discovered, large shipping and trading companies were formed, and spices would become the most lucrative business in the world. When settlers came to Colonial America some families brought with them special treasured recipes and traditions handed down from their ancestors.
